Moses affirms your previous teaching, "Look for Jesus in the Psalms." Moses points the people back to trusting in the Lord to carry them through every situation. Jesus who was and is to come; sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for us. Moses the intercessor pointing us to "THE" intercessor! We trust you today still Lord❤Amen Pastor Chad.

WOW! Did the northern 10 tribes EVER return to the land of Israel?? No, They are the not my child, remember Yahuah DIVORCED them!!! You better read Ezekiel 37, starting at verse 15!!! 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. The New International Version (1 Pe 2:9-10). (2011). Zondervan. I have to ask you, did you read verses 9-10?? Who is the Treasured Possession??? 6 For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” g The New International Version (1 Pe 2:6). (2011). Zondervan. Last I knew, Zion was in Israel!! I don't see "church" anywhere in that verse, maybe you can show me. Does the Scripture tell the Jews anywhere to follow and worship the way the nations do???

Can someone deny Jesus and be Jewish ? I read in Romans 2:26-29 a description and it says to be circumcised is of the spirit, to be Jewish is of the spirit, if the spirit has not Jesus Christ, that person cannot be a Jew. The new covenant must be embraced

My opinion based on my serious study. AGAIN, My Opinion based on serious study. No! We are to pray for our enemy. God has made it clear, under the N.T. Covenant that He will Judge, He WILL punish. Our COMMANDMENT IS TO LOVE OUR ENEMY. Others don’t have to agree, but as a disciple of Christ Jesus it IS NOT MY place to pray for anyones destruction. Doesn’t mean I agree or like how my enemy treats me, but IT IS a command to love them. Pray for them. Remember: “What Is the Law?” ANYTHING GOD COMMANDS and the Apostles were given authority that means when they command us as well we are to obey. “What Is Sin? The breaking of Gods commands. Something to keep in mind when making decisions.

The Sadducee’s were far worse than the Pharisees. They worked hand and hand with the Roman government to keep the Jews in compliance with Roman law. At least the Pharisees cared about the people, in general. Yes there definitely were some horrid ones, but remember that many Pharisees realized Jesus was the Messiah and DID follow him. Not one record of a Sadducee being saved or believing in Jesus. The Sadducee’s were the ultimate sell outs of their people.

I thank God for you Chad, and your videos and books. I have avoided the Old Testament for a while, and you are helping me find Jesus there amidst the violence and anger that was keeping me away. I need to learn and know that it tells of the same compassionate God who loves me. Not a God who is in unpredictable like an abusive parent, not knowing how they will be today when they walk in the door. Please continue teaching us the Old Testament and how to read it, and find our loving fFather there who is slow to anger and knows we are dust.

Indoctrination and dogma are such awful things. Chad, just listen to yourself. Babies at conception, when they are mere embryos, are sinful? Seriously? What sin have they committed? I understand the doctrine of original sin and despise it. It causes humans to live with unnecessary guilt that weighs them down for their entire lives. Christianity has institutionalized guilt as a virtue.

What is presented as the greatest tragedy in this event is that the daughter died a virgin, childless. The daughter was allowed to have 2 months to go into the mountains, with her friends, bewailing her virginity. It became a custom that "the daughters of Israel went 4 days each year to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite." As to Jephthah's vow, the Bible tells us, "he carried out his vow with her which he had vowed." Seems like a cold way to report that Jephthah killed his daughter and sacrificed her as a whole offering to God. Jephthah probably did actually sacrifice his daughter, since the annual memorial to lament for Jephthah's daughter became an annual 4 day custom. The best that can be said about this event is that it is not as gruesome as what is described in chapter 19. Addendum: We all know about Rachel's anxiety that, unlike Leah and their handmaids (concubines), her capability to have babies was slow to come about. We know about Hannah being anxious (until she heard comforting words from Eli) about not having babies. David condemned Michal to dying childless.

I don’t believe that the word should be translated as hate which is far too strong for English readers. No one is going to have the Hebrew background training. It should be replaced with an explanatory phrase to make the meaning clear. There are better ways to make the point than with “hate” which for the modern reader is loaded with baggage. The unchurched are not going to get it. Hyper-accuracy in translating is sometimes scholarly arrogance, and does not convey the message in modern language and usage.

He was a man after Gods own heart Before. Whatever you pray it should be thst the fire wod bring into a sorrow that leafs to godly repentance.
